This would be nice on a Sunday morning
It’s been a long time since I blogged something about my life. My recent posts here are usually from my Instagram posts. Since my 17th birthday was full of surprising events, might as well share it here.
One of my birthday wishes is to be surprised by my loved ones. My birth month was the start of our vacation back then in high school, so I don’t expect that I will be surprised. Until my friends and I went to college (some of us still have classes until April or May) and as our friendships have grown deeper, my wish did come true. Though I kinda told them to surprise me haha!
First of, Cel Lalo, he’s one my boy best friends, was the first one who surprised me. It was five days before my birthday. His surprise was simple, and I’m the kind of person who appreciates the little things. He gave me a KFC meal because there is a story behind it. There was a time that he got mad at me because I’ve done some terrible actions. He was also jealous that time because we weren’t able to get a picture together on our graduation day. So, I brought a KFC meal to his house. Unfortunately, he was not there so I just left it on his study table with a note saying that I am sorry hoping we will be okay soon. Then he thanked me through text message and according to him, it was his first time to have someone do that to him. Okay, going back, it was funny and obvious because he was asking for my class schedule and the name of my roommate.
After his surprise, we had some coffee while I was doing my argumentative essay. Luckily, I have no math class during that time, so we got to spend more time to catch up.
